Auditions for AY 2026-2027 begin on Monday, December 1, 2025 and end on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM.
Audition Process
- Please make sure you fill out our information form (click on "Join The MMP" button below)
- Please make sure you apply to the University (see above).
- After you have applied, click on the scholarship audition portal to schedule an audition or submit your YouTube (UNLISTED) or Google Drive link. Audition requirements listed below.
Audition Requirements
- Please make sure that you prepare the following for your audition
- State CLEARLY your name, location and instrument (YouTube or Google Drive auditions only)
- BRASS/WOODWIND/MALLET PERCUSSION: Prepare your 12 major scales with arpeggios
- BRASS/WOODWIND/MALLET PERCUSSION: Play the chromatic scale throughout the practical range of your instrument
- FOR PERCUSSION (Snare Drum) - Prepare the 40 Essential PAS Rudiments pas.org/rudiments/
- Play a prepared selection (e.g. All-State etude) of no more than 32 measures that displays your lyrical and/or technical proficiency (NO MARCHING BAND MUSIC! Marches are allowed.)
